Mahbub Rahman is the Co-Founder, Secretary General and Spokesperson of the School of Entrepreneurship Development (SED). Since its establishment in 2018, he has been the driving force behind building SED’s network of speakers, advisors, industry professionals and international collaborators.
Through his personal outreach and relationship-building, Mahbub has brought together nearly all of SED’s speakers and its entire advisory network. His efforts have connected students in Bangladesh with leaders and practitioners from diverse countries and disciplines, creating opportunities for mentorship, practical learning and collaboration.
As SED’s spokesperson, he represents its mission of advancing youth leadership, entrepreneurship and career readiness. His work focuses on bringing universities and industry closer together, expanding opportunities for women and helping young people engage with sustainability and responsible entrepreneurship.
He holds a BBA and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Dhaka and participated in the Swedish Institute’s Impact Pioneers programme in 2024.
His vision for SED is to turn professional connections into accessible opportunities – enabling young people to learn directly from experienced leaders, develop their ideas and contribute to their communities.
